چکیده

Abstract Adipogenesis of intramuscular fat tissue in ruminant animals occurs from late pregnancy to first months age. Therefore, the potential (IMF) deposition lasts fetal phase until weaning. This crucial period is known as marbling window. Marbling stablished by both hyperplasia and hypertrophy processes, this attribute can be modulated a strategic nutrient plan or bioactive compounds. Some studies showed that angiogenesis process has specific relationship, spatially temporally, associated with adipogenesis. Adipose vastly vascularized capillaries surrounding each adipocyte fact turns target for manipulation, due pericytes blood vessel’s cell wall differentiating into pre-adipocytes adipocytes. Thus, manipulation processes related IMF have been studied active form vitamin A (retinoic acid) demonstrated modulator key genes expression. However, there are still some remaining questions concerning adequate dosage its best administration time point. In Korean native cattle, they found supplementation increased, progeny, birth weight upregulated expression preadipocyte muscle development. When supplemented via oral newborn calves, observed an improvement calf performance upregulation pre-adipogenic myogenic genes. research conducted United States using Angus it was neonatal injections, at 30 d age, promoted growth development beef cattle. mentioned above were myogenic, angiogenic adipogenic genes, also increase formation. our recent study Brazil, just one injection crossbred cattle we involved lipogenesis. summary, through during gestational period, possible upregulate several biological (myogenesis, angiogenesis, adipogenesis lipogenesis) deposition. Further needed confirm if pregnant cows results similar better outcomes progeny dosages recommendations injected calves.

the effect of e-64 on the developmental competence of sheep cocs during in vitro maturation

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.

Deficiency of Carnitine in Non-Ruminant Animals

Under most conditions for the majority of species, carnitine would not be considered a vitamin as it is adequately synthesized in body tissues. However, the need for supplemental carnitine has been demonstrated in mammals in circumstances in which the biosynthesis is limited by nutritional deprivation of the precursor amino acids lysine and methionine. Dietary carnitine is essential for some in...

Adsorption of Vitamin C on a Fullerene Surface: DFT Studies

Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were performed to investigate adsorptions of vitamin C (Vit) on the surface a fullerene structure (Ful) in gaseous and water–solvated systems. Two models of Vit including OVit and MVit were created based on the original structure of Vit for OVit and methylation of all hydroxyl groups for MVit. All singular and hybrid structures were optimized and the...

Essentiality of Histidine in Ruminant Animals

Concept and establishment of essential amino acids in animals and human beings rendered immeasurable contributions to animal production and human health. In ruminant animals, however, essential amino acids have never been completely established. The present review proposes a hypothesis that histidine may not be an essential amino acid for normal growing cattle (Japanese black) at least at the g...
